The Hobbit is a two part epic fantasy adventure movie directed and produced by Peter Jackson and based on JRR Tolkien's fantasy novel of the same name. A Jackson's prequel of trilogy of The Lord of the Rings.

This prequel of trilogy The Lord of the Rings tells of the adventures of Bilbo Baggins, honorable "little people", on the hazardous journey with Gandalf the Grey. Along with 13 dwarves, Bilbo Baggins will open the door of perilous adventure through "the Lonely Mountain" where he must defeat all the enemies, ranging from dragons, giant spiders, hostile elves, hungry wolves, and - perhaps the most dangerous of all - being named Gollum, Bilbo eventually get a magical ring, "the ring", from him after winning a riddling contest!
